When I wrote my last home blog post the structural work on the house was about to start. By the time I’m writing this one our first floor is starting to look like a real house. It’s so much fun to see the progress every week, finally some real action! Now let’s talk about our plans for the home office.
After a January that seemed to drag on for months February went by in the blink of an eye. I didn’t even mind time flying by this month because I can’t wait for spring and warmer temperatures. Let’s hope we at least get a couple of nice weather day in March. But for now I want to share some of my favorite things about February.
After debating for weeks I finally decided to go for it and buy myself an apple watch. I’ve had it for about a month now and have worn it every single day. My biggest concern was not using it enough, but after wearing it for a month I am convinced it’s worth its price. In this post I go over the three main reasons why I love my watch.
The house is finally coming together, what a relief. We even got the news the builders are a month ahead on schedule and are starting the structural work somewhere this week. It’s going to be so exciting to see our house progress every week. For now I want to share our plans for the bathroom.
Time for a new blog series! Every month I want to discuss five things I loved. This can be anything from a Netflix show to a fashion item or a beauty product. I hope you enjoy my monthly favorites and discover something you might love too!
I’ve been slowly trying to make some healthy lifestyle changes since last summer. I was doing really great in july and august by eating healthy and working out at home. But I’m a stress eater and the last couple of months have been crazy stressful. Which results in me coming home and thinking ‘I just want a glass of wine and some snacks to make everything better’. Starting now I want to try to get back to how I was doing this summer. I’m not a big fan of diets or going to the gym a couple times a week. I’m still one lazy little sucker and could never keep up with that. But making a couple small healthy lifestyle changes is doable.
First things first: happy new year everyone! I hope you all had the best time celebrating the start of 2018. We spend it at home eating lots of appetizers and homemade pizza, I loved it. Let’s start off the new year on the blog with a new project home blog post. This one will be all about our new living room.
I love decorating our home all year round, but I especially love decorating for Christmas. Seeing the Christmas tree and all of its lights instantly makes me happy. Add some fluffy blankets and cinnamon scented candles and you get a very happy Inez. In today’s blog post I want to show you how we updated our home decor for the holiday season.
Men are the hardest crowd to buy presents for. And to make it even more difficult most of them don’t even have an answer to “what do you want for Christmas?” except for “I don’t know, I like anything”. To help you out I’ve made a list of presents that work for nearly every man in your life, from dad to boyfriend.
There are two types of people in the world. People who have their life together and have already bought all of their Christmas presents by now. And people who are just now starting to realize Christmas parties are getting scarily close. I definitely belong to the last group and most years finish buying all of my gifts a couple of days before Christmas Eve. To help my fellow the-last-minute-is-my-time-to-shine people I will be posting two gift guides this week. Starting off with some gift ideas for her.
