The holiday season has come and gone, which means the sales have officially started in Belgium. Last night I browsed my favorite online shops and found some great sale items that I wanted to share on the blog. This season I’m going to try not to spend too much, but I’m still on the lookout for a nice fluffy coat.
First things first: happy new year everyone! I hope you all had the best time celebrating the start of 2018. We spend it at home eating lots of appetizers and homemade pizza, I loved it. Let’s start off the new year on the blog with a new project home blog post. This one will be all about our new living room.
I always love reading about people’s favorite beauty products of the year. That’s why I decided to write a 2017 beauty favorites myself. These are the products I used the most during 2017. Some of them have been my favorites for years and some of them are new discoveries.
Bootcut jeans are back, baby! Jeans are a staple in my closet, and I’m always up to trying out a different pair. This bootcut one is a bit out of my comfort zone, but I’m glad I tried them again after years of skinny jeans.
I love decorating our home all year round, but I especially love decorating for Christmas. Seeing the Christmas tree and all of its lights instantly makes me happy. Add some fluffy blankets and cinnamon scented candles and you get a very happy Inez. In today’s blog post I want to show you how we updated our home decor for the holiday season.
Men are the hardest crowd to buy presents for. And to make it even more difficult most of them don’t even have an answer to “what do you want for Christmas?” except for “I don’t know, I like anything”. To help you out I’ve made a list of presents that work for nearly every man in your life, from dad to boyfriend.
There are two types of people in the world. People who have their life together and have already bought all of their Christmas presents by now. And people who are just now starting to realize Christmas parties are getting scarily close. I definitely belong to the last group and most years finish buying all of my gifts a couple of days before Christmas Eve. To help my fellow the-last-minute-is-my-time-to-shine people I will be posting two gift guides this week. Starting off with some gift ideas for her.
The Louis Vuitton Speedy bag was my first designer love and will stay in my heart forever. The bag has been around since the early 1930s and has become a real classic that gets revamped every couple of years. Louis Vuitton bags can be hard to style though, they come off preppy or tacky really quick when they are paired with certain outfits.
Confession time: I rarely take showers. I’m not a gross person, if that is what you are thinking, but I take a bath every day. My relaxing bath is something I look forward to every day. Most days a little bath cream will do. But some days I want to be extra and get out all of my relaxing bath essentials.
The last few days have revolved around designing the rooms in our house. A process I wanted to document on the blog. Let’s start with one of the most important rooms: the kitchen. Food is love, food is life. So we need to get this room just right. I’ve been Pinteresting up a storm to find some kitchen inspiration.
